DREAMERS.ID - MTV Video Music Awards 2020 sukses digelar pada Minggu (30/8/2020) malam waktu setempat. Berbeda dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya, ajang penghargaan ini digelar secara virtual karena pandemi Covid-19.
The Weeknd menjadi bintang yang meraih penghargaan utama Video of The Year lewat lagunya bertajuk Blinding Lights. Lagu tersebut juga mengantarkannya sebagai Best R&B.
Sementara itu, Lady Gaga berhasil mencetak sejarah baru. Lady Gaga berhasil meraih penghargaan Tricon dan membawa pulang lima piala Moon Man dari sembilan nominasi yang ia dapatkan.
Setelah Lady Gaga, boyband asal Korea Selatan BTS menyusul dengan empat piala Moon Man yang menyapu bersih semua kategori yang dinominasikan, yaitu Best Group, Best K-Pop, Best Pop, dan Best Choreography.
