DREAMERSRADIO.COM - Setelah ajang penghargaan Oscar sukses dilaksanakan beberapa waktu lalu, kini giliran MTV Movie Awards 2014 yang siap menggelar acaranya. Baru – baru ini pihak MTV mengumumkan para nominasi, American Hustle dan Wolf of Wall Street bersaing ketat dengan mendominasi beberapa katagori untuk tahun ini, masing – masing dari dua film tersebut berhasil meraih delapan nominasi.
Dilansir dari laman DigitalSpy, pemenang Oscar untuk kategori Best Picture, ‘12 Years a Slave’ akan bersaing dengan American Hustle, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire dan The Wolf of Wall Street dalam kategori Movie of The Year.
Untuk kategori Best Male Performance, aktor Matthew McConaughey akan bersaing dengan Bradley Cooper , Josh Hutcherson , Chiwetel Ejiofor , dan empat peraih nominasi Oscar, Leonardo DiCaprio. Sedangkan untuk katergori Best Female Performance, sejumlah nama terkenal seperti Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong'o, Sandra Bullock, Amy Adams dan Jennifer Aniston akan memperebutkan piala kemenangan.
Voting secara umum telah dibuka mulai hari ini sampai tanggal 12 April, para fans bisa memilih melalui website MTV untuk beberapa katagori seperti Best Comedic Performance, Best Villain, Best Kiss, Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, Best Musical Moment, Best #WTF Moment, dan Best Fight.
Nantinya, ajang penghargaan MTV Movie Awards 2014 akan diselenggarakan di Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat pada 13 April mendatang dengan dipandu oleh Conan O'Brien.
